Text Classics Page to Picture series – the first Wednesday every month (from June - October, 2012).A series of events in celebration of Australian Text Classics. The Text Classics Page to Picture series will conclude with a screening and discussion of Shane Maloney’s Stiff on Wednesday 3 October. Directed by John Clarke, Stiff stars David Wenham as Murray Whelan – dogsbody for the Minister of Industry – who is called on to deal with a corpse found in the freezer of the Pacific Pastoral Meat Packing Works in Melbourne’s outer suburbs.
