Our regular celebration of poetry with three strong women poets!
Jordie Albiston has published six collections of poetry, the most recent being The Sonnet According to ‘M’. Two of her books have been adapted for music-theatre, both enjoying recent seasons at the Sydney Opera House.
Jennifer Harrison’s fourth poetry collection, Folly & Grief was published by Black Pepper in 2006. Together with Kate Waterhouse she co-edited Motherlode, an anthology of Australian women’s poetry published by Puncher & Wattmann in 2009.
Josephine Rowe’s collection of short stories, How a Moth Becomes a Boat was recently re-released. She is the poetry editor for Harvest magazine, and is currently writing her first novel.
