Launch of SEAM
Daine Singer Gallery, Basement, 325 Flinders Lane
Please join Ian Kemmish AM, Australian High Commissioner to PNG 2010-13, and Drusilla Modjeska for the Melbourne launch of SEAM, a small foundation to support community based literacy projects in Papua New Guinea
At this event, SEAM (Sustain Education Art Melanesia) will be raising funds to launch their pilot project of Wanskul/Schoolmate. Named to evoke the idea of a ‘toolbox’ to support and resource literacy in remote communities, this project will embody the principle of bringing together the traditional and the modern through all aspects of its design.
Free, no booking required.
