Australian Record Store Day with Adi Sappir
Readings St Kilda — 112 Acland St, St Kilda, Victoria, 3182
Adi Sappir is writing songs with a cello in her hand. Her musical style is intimate, lyrical and infused with her classical and cultural influences. Since coming to Australia, Adi has been exploring the possibilities of the cello and voice. Her second album Insomnia is an intimate conversation between cello and voice, accompanied by evocative lyrics in English and Hebrew. It expresses life, parenthood and relationships in the inner city of Melbourne.
